This is a messenger service panel truck (Ford).
In the 50's New Jersey Bell Telephone decided to paint
all vehicles orange and green. The thought was for better
visability.  All new vehicles came this way and older
vehicles that were not up for retirement went to body
shops for paint jobs,  When the project was about 90%
complete AT&T said we didn't say you can do that, so
they went back to the body shop and were repainted green.
Plenty of body shop owners became millioaires!
